So this weekend me, Lexy & Marzi hopped into the car and road tripped it to Amarillo. We left early Saturday afternoon to get there so we could hang out with Chris a lot. We had fun in the car, and we definately walked down memory lane and back a couple times...it was good! We got there and we went shopping at a few places, then we went to dinner at Bennigan's. Wahoo! Although, they changed up my favorite meal and it wasn't served on a pretzel but on bread...how dumb! After dinner we went back to the house where I got ready for Brad & Ashley's wedding, she was gorgeous! The wedding was good, I went to the reception but had to leave right after Brad & Ashley got there because I was ready to go be back with the girls. We then ended up going to Midnight Rodeo to meet up with Chris's son, Cody. We had an absolute blast at Midnight, although I didn't dance at all. Marzi wanted me to dance and she was pulling me off my stool when the stool fell over on my toe, OUCH! By the way, today my toe is black and blue and it hurts like no other. After the rodeo, we went to IHOP at 2am and were there till nearly 4am...seriously, a long ole meal. IHOP was full of drama which made it so much fun. Plus we're fun and we have a blast no matter what we're doing. After IHOP we just crashed, we definately didn't have the engery to do anything else. This morning we woke up pretty late, and I went and crawled in bed with Chris & Lexy and we just talked for awhile. Seriously, Chris is one of the most amazing women I've ever met. She reminds me a lot of my own mother so it was nice to get to spend Mother's Day with her. So after laying in Chris's bed for some time we finally got up and got ready...and off to Texas Roadhouse we went for Mother's Day. We wouldn't let Chris pay so I treated everyone to steaks...yummy! We left Amarillo near 4, although NONE of us wanted to leave and Chris & Cody didn't want us to leave either. I seriously could move in with that woman and probably have fun everyday for the rest of my life. Well I had a blast and hanging out with Lexy & Marissa was wonderful and brought back so many memories. We have experienced so much together, and I cherish the friendship I share with both of them. I love you Lexy & Marzi, can't wait for the next road trip.
